{"id":2145,"date":"2024-10-14T07:58:26","date_gmt":"2024-10-14T07:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tadolya.com.tr\/?p=2145"},"modified":"2025-07-02T07:05:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T07:05:09","slug":"su-boregi-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tadolya.com.tr\/?p=2145&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Su B\u00f6re\u011fi Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><b>Su B\u00f6re\u011fi Recipe (Turkish Boiled Pastry)<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u2022<b>Dough:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20226 eggs<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20221 tea glass of water (about 100 ml)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20221 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20225-6 cups all-purpose flour (add gradually)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u2022<b>Filling:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022500 grams of white cheese or ricotta cheese<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20221 bunch of parsley (finely chopped)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Salt (optional, depending on the saltiness of the cheese)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u2022<b>For Brushing:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022250 grams of butter<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u20221 cup of milk<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Instructions:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 1. <\/span><b>Prepare the Dough:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022In a large bowl, mix the eggs, water, and salt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Gradually add flour until you obtain a firm, non-sticky dough.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Knead the dough for 10 minutes and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rest for 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 2. <\/span><b>Roll Out the Dough:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Divide the rested dough into 10 equal pieces (bezeler).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Roll each piece into thin sheets using flour to prevent sticking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Larger sheets will result in a more delicious b\u00f6rek.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 3. <\/span><b>Boil the Sheets:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Boil water in a large pot and add a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Prepare a large bowl of cold water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Boil each sheet for 1-2 minutes, then immediately transfer to the cold water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Place the boiled sheets on a clean kitchen towel and remove excess water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 4. <\/span><b>Layer the B\u00f6rek:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Grease a baking tray with butter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Place the first boiled sheet dry at the bottom of the tray.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Brush it with a mixture of melted butter and milk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Place the second boiled sheet on top and brush again with the butter-milk mixture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Repeat with the third and fourth sheets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 5. <\/span><b>Add the Filling:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Mix the cheese and chopped parsley for the filling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Spread the filling evenly over the fourth sheet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 6. <\/span><b>Complete the Layers:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Continue layering the remaining sheets over the filling, brushing each layer with the butter-milk mixture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Place the final sheet dry on top and pour any remaining butter-milk mixture over it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"> 7. <\/span><b>Bake:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C (350\u00b0F).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2022Let the b\u00f6rek rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>Enjoy!<\/b> Su B\u00f6re\u011fi is especially delicious when served hot.
